Letters: Glassford Hill Gauntlet

Here we have three letters about photo radar, two of them that appear to employ actual research. What's keeping the Courier reporters from gathering the facts and knitting them up into something useful? Could it be that you don't want to step on any official toes in PV?

Look, you've got resources at hand, an easy story to get around, and obviously huge demand for it. That's how you sell papers, folks.

Ok dude ,got ya ! ,only the last 2 letters are about the photo radar issue ..one guy even went so far as to use actual math! (my kinda guy) anyway
the first letter was about the longstanding traffic light stupidity that we have been dealing with down here in PV . the stoneridge drive turn signal is infamous down here for causing long waits and near accidents when people try to beat the light .
But ..I do join your call for the courier to look into this stuff ..

heres some math I think we alll should Know ...Its a formula for the perfect bacon sandwich!
The formula is: N = C + {fb (cm) . fb (tc)} + fb (Ts) + fc . ta, where N=force in Newtons required to break the cooked bacon, fb=function of the bacon type, fc=function of the condiment/filling effect, Ts=serving temperature, tc=cooking time, ta=time or duration of application of condiment/filling, cm=cooking method, C=Newtons required to break uncooked bacon.
( Im sorry for the love of god stop me before I calculate again)
