Herron: "Shimizu's anti-gun control stance goes too far"

That's what I'm talking about, Al. Take a stand and write with vigor.

I like that he includes Ben's Email address as a reply contact as well, making a cute little statement.

Y'know, I remember college. Us level-headed, think of every consequence decision makers who could have handled going about our prolonged adolesence while walking about the Quad packing heat . . . wait . . . oh, that's right. We were dumbs*&! who couldn't drive sober or manage not to pickup an STD.

Maybe arming college students needs to be rethought?

Coyote, please speak for yourself regarding your college career. I, unlike your collective "we," didn't drive drunk and didn't pick up an STD. I suspect there's another "us" group of college students -- those of us who maintained 4.0 grade point averages and graduated with honors. College-age people who'd be interested in applying for concealed carry permits probably have been around guns all their lives and understand what it really means to carry one. They know that you shouldn't even take out your gun unless it's a life-and-death situation and that you shouldn't point your gun if you don't plan on shooting it. They take the right to bear arms seriously, just like they do their lives -- and thus, probably could avoid making a poor decision, whether it's with a gun or with a penis.
