A local newspaper is important to holding a community together, so it carries the responsibility of making good choices for the community. I'm an optimist, and I figure that if we become more critical readers and hold the editors accountable for what they're doing, including when they're doing right, we can gradually help make it better.

I get it, but YOU don't. Census Day is when they wanted the forms back, but if you didn't get a form call the number, but you need an ID number you didn't get or you have to wait until later, which is after the date they wanted the forms back, and now they will pay someone to send someone else to your door because you didn't send the form in because you didn't have the ID number you didn't get. Some people don't understand how screwed up this government is. Good insight on Tim's part.
As I read it, Tim agrees that he ignored the instructions to call back later.
