A local newspaper is important to holding a community together, so it carries the responsibility of making good choices for the community. Well somebody must be listening, there are 5 pages of comments to this TOT. Methinks she hit a nerve...
By the way, a Canadian ex-pat where I work has been having a running battle with a co-worker (that gets all his news from talk shows) showed the article to him and, after skimming it it, he pronounced, "I don't believe it, she's lying." You can lead a man to the facts, but you can't make him think.
