A1: "Sheriff's office arrests one of its own"

In the comments, Carlos Gaines gives the expected instant judgment, and things look bad for the deputy. I hope the reader will resist the urge to infer this or that, and bear in mind that using drugs recreationally doesn't make you evil.

*BEGIN look of shock and disgust*

Of course doing recreational drugs is evil! Don't you realise that our current administration sees these dopeheads as a serious liability to the moral fiber of our society? The coke and refer heads will bring our once blessed country down into the abyss, mark my words... and even more so when one of the dopers is one of our own deputies! Things like this are why the baby Jesus weeps for the once mighty US of A...

*END look of shock and disgust*

*sigh* Or, perhaps it might be just one more thing for town citizens who proclaim a sort of moral superiority to become sufficiently outraged about, no matter what the rationale. This faux puritanism is prevalent throughout the country - you know this, i'm sure. It's amplified even further in small cities, because *gasp* no one would ever believe such a thing could happen here!
