A1: "Former deputy worked while on probation"

Sheriff Waugh remains stuck up to his knees in the dung left behind by Buck Buchanan, and Mirsada Buric is doing a pretty good job of reporting the stink. Too bad it's got to splash all the deputies who aren't sex-crazed racist death-metal cokeheads.

When Justin got arrested his actions became public record . He continued to be allowed to enforce the law ,and not one of his coworkers spoke out .

  2. I'm sorry, but if the choice is you come back to work or you don't, then someone with more than mushed carrots for a brain, should have said: "Stay at home. You're finished here." This is borderline stupidity on the county's part and they get everything they deserve by not ridding themselves of someone who was making advances and buying smokes for a minor. This is the guy upholding the law? Unbelievable. jared

  3. More than that, it creates a reasonable inference that since the rest of the department was hired under the same criteria, it's hard to have confidence in any of them. That's unfair, but it must affect interaction with the public and morale on the force. I'd love to see Mirsada asking questions about that, and what the sheriff is doing to address it.

  4. Addressing is a no-no. "You address an envelope, you speak to people." jared

I encourage you to share your own views and experience with me and other readers. How you do that matters, and I'm committed to maintaining a place where readers and commenters can feel safe from adolescent BS. So here's the deal:

There are two kinds of anonymous comments: those by people who have a genuine fear of revenge from the dark side, and those from darksiders just hiding to avoid accountability. You may post comments anonymously, but I reserve the right to treat anonymous comments as found items that belong to me and do with them as I see fit.

If, on the other hand, you're willing to stand by your convictions and post under your own name or a regular handle, your comments belong to you, and I'll edit them only on egregious violations of respect for others.

If this doesn't work for you, I'm sure you'll be happier somewhere else.
