Talk of the Town: "Development is a natural, beneficial human trait"
The best bit, though, is the spurious anthropology, imagining the ancient Pueblo peoples in the role of Del Webb. I'd laugh harder, but it's really kind of embarrassing to think that this person somehow managed to get through public school. Sheesh.
Is the Courier spike really so empty? Bill O'Reilly would be better. Words fail me.

I encourage you to share your own views and experience with me and other readers. How you do that matters, and I'm committed to maintaining a place where readers and commenters can feel safe from adolescent BS. So here's the deal:
There are two kinds of anonymous comments: those by people who have a genuine fear of revenge from the dark side, and those from darksiders just hiding to avoid accountability. You may post comments anonymously, but I reserve the right to treat anonymous comments as found items that belong to me and do with them as I see fit.
If, on the other hand, you're willing to stand by your convictions and post under your own name or a regular handle, your comments belong to you, and I'll edit them only on egregious violations of respect for others.
If this doesn't work for you, I'm sure you'll be happier somewhere else.
I read this article with disbelief. Here is a person who would laud the crime, congestion and filthy air of Phoenix and marvel how such traits are a mark of achievement. Why does the word, "shill" come to mind?
ReplyDeleteA shill at least gets a cut of the action. This person is just a happy mark.
ReplyDelete"Certainly, the landscape that God provides is without compare and we always must be good stewards of the natural blessings of air, land and water"
ReplyDeletewith his own words he shoots himself in the foot.
the lowes strip mine a "Baby Swan"?
WTF
Even as moronic as this is, I's rather have bamboo shoots shoved under my fingernails than read Bill O. Pretty juvenille stuff. I'm all down for freedom of speech, but sometimes. . .
ReplyDeleteSorry, that was me, jared. Also, had a typo: I meant to say I'd, not I's..jh
